Scholastic Book Fair
Our Scholastic Book Fair is a reading event that brings the books kids want to
read right into our school. It’s a wonderful selection of engaging and affordable
books for every reading level. Please make plans to visit our Book Fair and be
involved in shaping your child’s reading habits.
Book Fair dates:
Special activities: Counting contest the week prior to the book fair, Reader’s
Wanted Wild West Photo Opportunity, support our teachers with the purchase
of classroom books.
If you are unable to attend the Fair in person, we invite you to visit our online
Book Fair at www.scholastic.com/fair. Our Online Fair is available from October
19 to October 27, 2017.
Fall Conference Sign-ups
We will again be using PTCFast.com to make conference signups as
convenient as possible. Conferences will be held October 19, 24, and 26. We
do have a couple of exceptions; check the dates carefully when signing up.
Mrs. Ryan will be holding conference both here and at Boyd E. Smith. Parents
of her students should feel free to conference with her at either location.
Intermediate grades 4-6 will conference with the homeroom teacher.

Once you have gotten to the school site, find your grade and teacher. You will
be able to choose a day and a time. If you do not have internet access, please
send your child's teacher a note with requested times. As always, if you have
any questions, please give your teacher a call.

Kroger Community Rewards
The Kroger Community Rewards Program is an easy, completely cost-free way to give back to McCormick Elementary PTO! When you use your Kroger Plus card, and designate McCormick Elementary PTO as your rewards recipient, a percentage of what you spend will go back to McCormick Elementary PTO.
